D.R. Miller Design Build is owned and operated by Dave and Joanne Miller of Hartville Ohio. Started in 2006, the company has been recognized nationally for excellence in remodeling, including being featured in Remodeling Magazine’s “Big 50” in 2014.

Experience

Dave and Joanne have extensive experience in the building and remodeling industries. Dave began early on working as a carpenter and learning the trade from his father (also a carpenter and home builder). Joanne has years of experience working the building and remodeling industry. To date, the company has done over 500 projects across Northeastern Ohio.

Dave and Joanne’s focus is to provide an enjoyable remodeling experience for their clients. Professional yet personable, they strive to produce the highest quality remodeling projects while developing genuine relationships based on trust and honesty with their clients.

Company History

Dave & Joanne Miller founded D.R. Miller Design Build in 2006, after many years of working as a carpenter, project manager, and project consultant for other successful remodeling companies. Over the years, the company has developed a reputation for friendliness, attention to detail, and craftsmanship.

Raised Amish, Dave comes from a family of builders. His father, Andy J. Miller was a skilled carpenter who taught his family the importance of “doing things the right way.” He also stressed the importance of “treating people the right way.” Today, the majority of Dave’s brothers still work in building related trades.

The D.R. Miller Design Build Company is a legacy of this rich heritage of building.
